Looking back over some of my recent posts, I realize it must seem like I live in an unrealistic, rose-tinted dream bubble where my life is always peachy keen and nothing can go wrong! I figured I should clarify why I’ve chosen to never bring any negativity to this blog. Like any normal person, I have my bad days, but I’ve made a conscious point to not use this blog, or my twitter or facebook for that matter, as a venting forum to complain about whatever silly or negative thing annoys me on a given day. Honestly, I find it really strange when people use social media to complain about their personal lives. From the start, I wanted this blog and my posts to be a place to reflect on the beautiful things and moments that bring me joy, rather than wallow in the personal little miseries that are better left far, far away from a “share” button! Anyway, there’s my little spiel. Enjoy these pretty pictures! xo

really appreciated this post, Camille. thats so true! Ive unfollowed a few bloggers and also people in my own facebook network b/c they post negative status updates or they talk badly about other people while hiding behind their computer screens.
thank you for always being so positive and inspiring! love your blog!
Hi Camille,
I agree with everything you have said here, life is too short to dwell on negative thoughts.
Thank you for always sharing such beautiful images and inspiration.
Happy new week
Hugs

Thanks Camille for stopping by. Your posts are dreamy and lovely, it puts a smile on my face everytime the sprinkle dust falls down. xx
I agree – there is so much negativity out there. My favorite blogs are honest, pretty, and positive. Always enjoy your blog and your pictures are gorgeous.

Dear Camille,
I don’t follow many blogs….I usually try to steer clear of the internet and prefer to be outdoors experiencing life through my eyes rather than on screen, however, on rare occasions I will peek into a couple of blogs that I enjoy spending a few moments on. Blogs that beautify the internet world. Blogs that inspire me to live life with a sense of wonder and excitement. I just wanted you to know that your blog is one of them.
So I am glad that you pointed out that your blog is not there as a psychological negative output….and no….we don’t think it is shallow….nor do we think it is naive. I believe it is the very thing that people tend to forget these days, the love of all things wonderful!
So, thank you for sharing your wonder lust ;)
If you fill your days with positivity and happy things, there’s no room for negativity to seep in. xo Thank you for keeping things positive and upbeat, Camille! xo
I feel the same way. I feel as you do, that the more beauty and positive thoughts we can bring to our days, the better our days will be. That’s why my blog and my illustrations are very happy. Who needs to talk about rainy days? They’re going to come anyway, but we don’t have to put them on the stage. Have a glorious week, Camille!

These photos are just lovely, and I adore the way you described your mission. It’s so easy to vent anonymously, but what, really, is there to complain about that’s worth being cataloged forever?
Lovely Camille, don’t change a thing!
I’ve noticed a few people leaving mean comments on my blog lately shouting at me for pretending that life is wonderful, but actually I think life is partly what we make it (and for me, I actively choose to focus on lovely things, small pleasures, and to view the world through my rose-tint where I can). The world is filled with enough misery without us adding to it through our blogs, and personally I adore your blog precisely because you share my dreamy view of things and because it’s always such a lovely, charming place to visit.

So many wonderful pastels. AH. I would love to have a pink lawn, merde.
the great thing about a blog is that you can make it whatever you want it to be… you can re-create reality, one gorgeous, positive picture at a time :)
blogs like yours are rare, so don’t change a thing Camille!

Camille, I couldn’t agree more. My blog is my daily escape, my inspiration outlet that is meant to inspire others as well if possible. That’s why I don’t like to make it too personal.

I completely agree! And any of the blogs that I read pretty much stick to the same thing… No negativity. People have enough negativity on their own. We get to help readers see the light and beauty in each day! I love how your blog is such a perfect bubble! And can all alleys please have umbrellas lining the top?!?! That photo is amazing!
cute!!!
